Dr. Ronald Gottesman was a friend, mentor and colleague to many at The Children’s. His loss is felt by us all.

Dr. Gottesman was a medical hero who played a leadership role in founding the speciality of critical care in Canada. Admired by his patients and colleagues, he leaves a profound legacy.

His family wishes to honour him through the Dr. Ronald Gottesman Fund for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Funds raised will benefit critically ill children treated in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and their families, honouring Dr. Gottesman’s legacy.
